*UPDATE: Doubled batteries in the world. Also made some adjustments to enemy AI to hopefully address the issue with the "Starro" enemy that even after death "haunts" the player character. I haven't been able to reproduce the bug so I hope it's fixed.

You wake up finding yourself in an unknown place without any recollection as to how you got there. You work your way through the maze that is filled with these...creatures, hoping that you don't get indoctrinated and lose control of your body as the next unfortunate soul comes along.


Made for the Cosmic Horror 2 Game Jam over a 2 week period. Created by myself with all code and artwork made over the period of the jam.

Controls:

WASD/Arrows to move

F to toggle your flashlight and aim with the mouse cursor

Spacebar (while moving) to dodge roll

Left Mouse Button to bash enemies with your flashlight

E to interact

P to pause

SoundFX are recorded by myself or through https://freesound.org/

Fonts are from https://www.dafont.com/ (Cthulhu's Calling, DansHandWriting, and ugly handwriting

All other assets are created by myself during the jam.

think you can offer an exe for the game?

Oh geez. I'll go see if I can do that right now. If I'm not locked out cause of the jam submission deadline, no prob. I'm not used to people asking for that.

Windows download added. I'm updating Unity with Mac/Linux packages so I can create builds of those as well.

There. Executables up. I can only test the Windows one and it seems to be functioning properly. I have a mac and linux for those folks as well. I can only hope they work properly.
